(He) was sent to the ER after being surrounded and beaten by members of Antifa on Saturday. Ngo was punched in the head, covered with silly string and eggs, and struck with milkshakes that Portland PD later claimed were filled with quick-drying cement. Ngo’s camera equipment was stolen by a member of the group, which can be observed in this video. Ngo was recognized and attacked because of his history of documenting Antifa’s actions in Portland.
A couple of men on the far-right held an “End Domestic Terrorism” rally in Portland, Oregon on Saturday. As expected, the violent left-wing group Antifa showed up to counter protest. Ironically, the protest was about stopping their violent counter protests. Dressed in black, some wearing masks, Antifa struck at the windows of buses carrying people on the right, sprayed pepper spray at them and tried to drag them out of the bus using a hammer. They broke a window on one of the buses.
At one point, they chased a man and a young girl dressed in flag clothing who had become separated from the others. The man likely angered them because he didn’t fit their false stereotype of those on the right as white supremacists; he wore a shirt that said “I hate the left n racism.” They also threw sticky stuff at a man carrying an American flag.
Gun control supporters stood outside Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s home in Kentucky on Sunday night — protesting and hurling death threats at him — while broadcasting on Facebook Live.
“Murder Turtle!” the demonstrators can be heard shouting on video, in reference to McConnell’s infamous nickname […]
“The bitch home — we keep seeing the lights go on and off,” another says. “This hoe really thought he was going to get ready to be at home after he hurt his little punk ass shoulder. Bitch, don’t nobody give a f–k! F–k your thoughts and prayers, Mitch. F–k you, f–k your wife, f–k everything you stand for. ”
The “emergency protest,” as the demonstrators described it, took place Sunday night while McConnell, 77, reportedly was home recovering from a broken shoulder after a fall he suffered. About 20 to 30 people attended.
Hatred, which is what the liberal base claims is their chief concern about our nation’s chief executive, seems to consistently be their weapon of choice against what has been an indisputably successful first two-and-a-half-years of the Trump administration.
These are just the latest incidents of angry intolerance from the Left. They have no actual proof of the hate and racism they accuse the president and his supporters of – in fact, all the evidence shows that their side has the corner on that emotion. And their antics are only growing uglier by the day ~
(Aug. 7, 2019) Numerous fliers that say “death camps for Trump supporters now!!!” have been posted on street posts and parking meters in Patchogue, New York.
Antifa revels in accusing those on the right of white supremacy. But it is exacerbating racial tensions by falsely accusing the right of white supremacy. The reality is, white supremacists make up a very small portion of society, and are frequently found on the left, supporting big government programs.
Antifa is clearly not going to stop until more people are injured. They don’t respect the First Amendment, which protects free speech, not violence. Their approach is leading to anarchy and the destruction of a civilized democracy. But try to find Democrats who will denounce Antifa. Hardly any of them will, because Antifa has become a militarized wing of the Democratic Party. Just like the Ku Klux Klan was an extension of the Democratic Party back in the era of Jim Crow.

Fr. George Kuforiji, a native of Nigeria, was just commencing the celebration of the Mass on June 20 at St. Francis of Assisi parish when he was interrupted by elderly parishioners wearing white and bearing protest signs. The loud, grey-haired protesters filed into the central aisle and marched forward while Fr. Kuforiji tried to continue the celebration from behind the altar. Some banged tambourines or shook rattles in the church.

The video showed several of the mostly female parishioners confronting Fr. Kuforiji at the back of the church. One woman approached him and said, “How can you be a priest? I’ve been here for over 15 years. You’ve been here a year.”
Fr. Kuforiji responded: “Do you have reverence for God?” as the woman turned her back on him in apparent disgust. Finally, the protesters ended their disruption of the liturgy by locking arms and singing the Civil Rights-era anthem, “We Shall Overcome.” […]
According to a report in The Oregonian, members of the parish council and other parishioners questioned Fr. Kuforiji’s leadership and reforms. One of his innovations was to ban “inclusive language” in Scriptural readings used in the parished. His predecessors had avoided references to God as “Lord,” “king,” or “he.” Other reforms that Fr. Kuforiji introduced when he took over the parish in 2018 was to remove a hand-woven Guatemalan cloth that had been used on the altar, replacing it with a plain white altar cloth as prescribed for use in the Catholic Church.
Sounds to me like Father Kuforiji is just trying to make St. Francis Catholic again.
These aging baby-boomers want nothing to do with the one, true God. They’d rather invent their own kinder, gentler version. The Old Testament is full of folks like this, worshiping other gods of their own creation – instead of the Creator. Things never worked out well for them did they? Thus, any teaching, preaching, writings or practices that are faithful to the clear sexual instructions of these faiths will be beyond the pale of official California values. They will not be tolerated.
This action has very unsettling implications, as Glenn T. Stanton explains ~
To be clear, what they’re proposing is a resolution and would not have the razor-sharp edge of law. But it would have the real and devastating blunt force of state-sanctioned shaming of religious convictions. They couldn’t criminalize you, but they could obliterate your reputation and your life. There are too many vivid examples of this already. Of course, this resolution will grease the skids for it becoming enforceable law.
Worse, this arbitrary action by the legislators isn’t even based in reality. It’s based on feelings – like most leftist ideology. The actual facts don’t validate their feelings ~
• There is simply no dependable research support for the accusation. None.
• Gay and lesbian individuals themselves report being significantly more likely to choose to attend the very churches that teach a more traditional sexual ethic than they do so-called “welcoming and affirming” churches.
• The most dramatically gay-friendly places in the world still have incredibly and disproportionately high rates of suicides among their gay and lesbian individuals.
There is some real hope for suicidal homosexuals, but California leftists want to silence the very source of that aid and solace ~
Homosexual behavior also tears at the soul, causing much higher rates for substance abuse, suicide, depression, domestic violence, early death—even in the most gay-friendly regions of the globe. Why? Because active homosexuals are trying to find something through gay relationships that can never be found there. The happiness that they seek can only be found in submitting their sexuality to the Lordship of Christ and allowing Him to bring healing to the broken areas that have caused their homosexual desires. Yes, it’s a slow and sometimes arduous path to take, just as it is for the addict, but the only one that leads to joy, peace and eternal life with God.
Homosexual is not the way God created us and meant for us to live; reality shows this to be true. But the Left doesn’t want to hear that. So they pass laws to shut up Christians.
According to The Wall Street Journal, entrepreneurs across the city are having to make tough choices to the detriment of their employees in order to stay solvent. Thomas Grech, the president of the Queens Chamber of Commerce, told the Journal that small businesses have been shuttering over the last six to nine months, which he blamed on the minimum wage legislation.
“They’re cutting their staff. They’re cutting their hours. They’re shutting down,” he said. “It’s not just the rent.” Businesses with 11 or more employees were required to raise the minimum wage to $15 on December 31, 2018, while businesses with 10 or fewer workers will have to do so at the close of this year […]
According to the 324 full-service dining establishments surveyed (by the New York Hospitality Alliance), 75 percent plan to cut hours and 47 percent forecast eliminating some positions entirely in response to the minimum wage increase. What’s more, 87 percent said they would need to raise prices to stay above water.
The Left always wants to “fix” everything. Which usually causes undue pain and misery. On the other hand, successful people, and successful societies, accept reality as they find it – and adapt accordingly.
You can’t “fix” reality. You’ll find life much more agreeable if you adjust your worldview to correspond to it.

(July 22, 2019) News leaked last week that staffers working for Sen. Bernie Sanders’s presidential campaign were frustrated and complaining about receiving “poverty wages.” The irony is rich: Sanders the millionaire socialist has long railed against corporations for paying “starvation wages” as he stumps for a $15 minimum wage, but he was exposed as a hypocritical political hack.
In response to the embarrassing news, Sanders insisted over the weekend that his staffers would now be paid the promised $15 minimum wage, though this announcement came with a significant caveat: staffers’ hours would be cut to pay for it.
I’ve been meaning to get to this post on Robert Mueller and Louis Gohmert since Mueller appeared before the House Judiciary Committee a couple weeks ago. The consensus from both sides of the aisle seems to be that the hearing was a draw, with neither side of the Russian Collusion farce willing to retreat from their pre-hearing positions.
Here was Rep. Gohmert (R-TX) questioning the former special counsel on July 24th:

Robert Mueller’s months-long witch hunt into so-called ‘Russian collusion’ continues to spiral out of control. Despite hundreds of hours of non-stop liberal-media coverage, most Americans still know very little about the man behind the probe.
Congressman Louie Gohmert has had enough of the special counsel’s abuse of power, and he’s prepared to ‘unmask’ Mueller’s questionable history and total lack of judgment spanning decades.
In Robert Mueller: Unmasked, the GOP Representative pulls back the curtain and exposes the sordid truth surrounding the special counsel’s career.
“What I have accumulated here is absolutely shocking upon the realization that Mueller’s disreputable, twisted history speaks to the character of the man placed in a position to attempt to legalize a coup against a lawfully elected President,” writes Gohmert.
You really have to read the full report to appreciate the magnitude of the abuses Mueller has perpetrated. The damage he and his minions have done is incalculable.
Like most power-hungry partisans he’s adept at eliminating threats to what he sees as his rightful domain. Targeting and destroying the careers of anyone who gets too close to exposing the truth about bureaucratic ineptitude – or outright corruption – is a favorite strategy. I’ll highlight just a couple of the more egregious examples.
Congressman Curt Weldon defeated by Mueller’s FBI ~
Back in 2005-2006 Congressman Curt Weldon (R-PA), a 9 term representative, was on a mission to find out why the FBI hadn’t done more to prevent the 9-11 terrorist attacks ~
He alleged loudly and vociferously that there was documentary evidence to show that 9-11 could have been prevented and thousands of lives saved if the FBI had done their job […]
(H)e spoke of the failure of the FBI leadership, then under the direction of the Clinton administration as it ultimately came within Mueller’s control right before 9-11. They failed to even accept from the military any information on the very terrorists who would later go on to commit the atrocities of 9-11, much less act upon it. They gleaned this information through development of a surveillance technology in a project called Able Danger […]
Curt Weldon gave speech after speech, recounting what he saw and what he knew, recounting the FBI and the Clinton administration failures in information sharing that led to 9-11.
Clearly, this trouble-maker needed to be stopped. And he was. The following account is from World Net Daily ~
Each of Weldon’s 10 previous re-elections had been by sizable margins. Polls showed he was up by 5-7 points before the Clintons and pals weighed in.
Three weeks prior to the election, however, a national story ran about Weldon based upon anonymous sources that an investigation was underway against him and his daughter, alleging illegal activities involving his congressional work.
Weldon had received no prior notification of any such investigation and was dumbfounded that such a story would run especially since he regularly briefed the FBI and intelligence agencies on his work.
A week after the news story broke, alleging a need to act quickly because of the leak, FBI agents from Washington raided the home of Weldon’s daughter at 7 a.m. on a Monday morning. Howard Sklamberg oversaw the action.
Local TV and print media had all been alerted to the raid in advance and were already in position to cover the story. Within hours, Democratic protesters were waving “Caught Red-Handed” signs outside Weldon’s district office in Upper Darby.
In the ensuing two weeks, local and national media ran multiple stories implying that Weldon too must have been under investigation. Given the coverage, Weldon lost the election.
To this day (Nov. 2, 2016), incredibly, no one in authority has talked to Weldon or his daughter about the raid or the investigation. There was no follow up, no questions, no grand jury interrogation, nothing.
Other unlucky souls who ran afoul of the imperious Mr. Mueller include Senator Ted Stevens, Scooter Libby, General Michael Flynn and Dr. Steven Hatfill (prosecuted for an anthrax attack he had nothing to do with) ~
Unfortunately, both Mueller and Comey were absolutely and totally convinced of the innocent man’s (Dr. Hatfill) guilt. They ruined his life, his relationship with friends, neighbors and potential employers.
Achieving the ends through dishonest means is one of old Bob’s particularly nasty tactics as Gohmert points out ~
If the desired crime to be prosecuted was never committed, then talk to someone you want to convict until you find something that others are willing to say was not true. Then you can convict them of lying to the FBI. [Sound familiar?!]
Martha Stewart found out about Mueller’s FBI the hard way. Unfortunately, Mueller has left a wake of innocent people whom he has crowned with criminal records.
Mueller’s long list of abuses of authority include illegally raiding congressional offices for intimidation purposes, subverting the effectiveness of the FBI by relocating experienced field personnel to pencil-pushing desk jobs, misuse/abuse of National Security Letters to go on fishing expeditions, punishing whistle-blowers who attempted to expose corruption and purging FBI training materials of pertinent intel on Islamic terrorists ~

If a Mueller-trained FBI agent got a complaint about a potential radical Islamist who may pose a threat, the agent must immediately recognize that the one complaining is most likely an Islamophobe. That means the agent should first investigate whether the complainant is guilty of a hate crime […]
Director Mueller had all of the training materials regarding radical Islam “purged” of anything that might offend radical Islamic terrorists. So, in addition to using his “Five Year Up-or-Out” policy to force out so many experienced FBI agents who had been properly trained to identify radical Islamic terrorists, now Mueller was going even further. He was ensuring that new FBI agents would not know what to look for when assessing potentially radicalized individuals.
Did you get that? Instead of doing his job, protecting the country from all enemies foreign and domestic, the director of the FBI was deliberately undermining national security!
So don’t feel sorry for poor old Mueller. Pray that he’s actually brought to justice some day for all the damage he’s done to the integrity of the FBI – and to the entire country.
The Russian Collusion circus has now been exposed for what always has been: a blatant attempt to take down a sitting president. If this subversive act – by Mueller and the rest of his crooked posse – is allowed to sink into the D.C. swamp without anyone being prosecuted (like most of the Democrats’ nefarious schemes) it will be a tragedy. But it won’t be from a lack of resolute effort on the part of Louis Gohmert.
Enough with Mueller’s “collusion” charade; FBI needs to prosecute legitimate crimes ~ Rep. Gohert’s report focused on Mueller’s specific misdeeds and corrupt activities. He should write another one detailing all the real crimes Mueller has ignored over the years – like Imran Awan, his shady clan of Pakistani Muslims, their suspicious ties to the Democrat Party, and their credible threat to national security.
(J)ust in case he is unable to pull off denying his participation in the most egregious fraudulent hoax ever perpetrated on the President and the American public in U.S. history, he also used his highly publicized appearance before Congress last week to avail himself to a Plan B—i.e., present to the public the image of a befuddled old man who decency would dictate should be left alone. His hope there, of course, being to use this newly created doddering image of himself at some point in the future to enlist the court of public opinion to come to his defense, if and when it ever becomes necessary.

In May, the Claremont Review of Books published a column by Gelernter headlined “Giving Up Darwin.” In it, he explained how his readings and discussions of Darwinian evolution and its competing theories, namely intelligent design, have convinced him Darwin had it wrong.
Gelernter cited the Cambrian explosion as one insurmountable problem facing Darwinism. That’s because the fossil record shows “a striking variety of new organisms — including the first-ever animals — pop up suddenly in the fossil record over a mere 70-odd million years.” This directly contradicts the expectation by Darwin that “new life forms evolve gradually from old ones in a constantly branching, spreading tree of life.”
What’s more, Gelernter adds Darwin’s main problem is molecular biology, pointing out advances in technology have brought forth vast amounts of new information and understanding about the complexity of life, all of which has shown random mutation plus natural selection cannot generate new and complex creatures.
The unquestioning allegiance to Darwin’s theory of evolution is definitely starting to crumble. We can only hope that more scientists will break free of their *scientism and join the ranks of such scientific notables as Sir Isaac Newton, Sir Fred Hoyle, Charles Babbage, Frances Bacon, Johannes Kepler, Blaise Pascal, Louis Pasteur, Michael Faraday, Galileo and Leonardo da Vinci.

In my experience after teaching at three universities, when discussing Darwinism with colleagues, I have learned there exist many more Darwin skeptics than commonly believed. Most are in the closet for very good reasons (career survival), or at least they decline to publicly speak out about their views opposing Darwinism. The evidence against Darwinism is so great that it seems inevitable a few would speak out about their well-founded doubts about evolution. And some have.
It is Darwinism, not its alternative theories, that is an intolerant system of blind faith that brooks no reconsideration, no conflicting scientific opinion, and no independent thought. This shows up not only in the purging of academicians who hold politically incorrect views in life sciences, which Ben Stein exposed in his 2008 documentary Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed, but in deliberate mischaracterization of the debates about the origin of life.
