Many of us native-born Americans just assume that the vision referred to as the “American Dream” is our birthright. We simply take it for granted – if we think about it at. Not realizing what a rare and precious thing it is.
But consider for a moment…
In all the history of man on earth, there has been only one country with the word Dream attached to it; there is only the American Dream. There is no French Dream or Russian Dream or Chinese Dream; there is only the American Dream, to which people from all over the world aspire and have aspired since our founding. People from 194 countries have come to America to participate in this dream.

A vision of freedom and liberty, the chance for a fresh start, a better life, an opportunity to move beyond class and social status; the American Dream is the belief that with a little imagination, a little luck and a whole lot of individual effort you can achieve almost anything.

• Simplifying the tax system to encourage business investment and fuel economic growth
• Repealing Obamacare
• Transforming Social Security and Medicare by reducing benefits for the wealthiest Americans, treating these entitlements more like insurance programs and focusing resources on the truly needy
• Balancing the budget – within ten years
