Manuel Martinez isn’t a convenient prop for the anti-gun crowd; he’s not a parent of one of the Newtown victims. Manuel Martinez, originally a refugee from communist Cuba, is now a naturalized U.S. citizen. The kind of (legal!) immigrant America used to welcome. He came here for an opportunity, not a handout.
Manuel Martinez is experienced enough to recognize a threat to his freedom. Wise enough, to understand and cherish his right to bear arms under the Second Amendment. And courageous enough to stand up for liberty ~
April 5, 2013 ~ Manuel Martinez speaking to the Oregon state legislature
during debates on four proposed gun bills.

This is one of the nicest presentations of the video I have seen yet. Simple and elegant. Hats off to you from the videographer. – Dan Sandini
