American Pastor Saeed Abedini has been sitting in an Iranian prison for more than a year now. His offense? According to the authorites: he’s a threat to national security.
Abedini lives in Idaho with his wife and two young children . He was in Iran building an orphanage – an activity approved in advance by the government – when he was arrested in September 2012.
Saeed and his wife Naghmeh share an incredibly strong faith. Both are what Open Doors refers to as M.B.B.s (Muslim background believers). Their very lives are a witness for Jesus Christ, and a testament to His Truth.
Naghmeh recently spoke to a Samaritan’s Purse gathering. Here’s her amazing testimony ~

Update: Christian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani who was imprisoned in Iran for nearly three years, was finally released early this year. Although they let him go, the regime retaliated by throwing his lawyer, Mohammad Ali Dadkhah (a Muslim and a prominent human rights attorney), in jail with a nine-year sentence.
