The Obama administration’s totally incompetent handling of the southern border crisis is illustrative of many things including their lawlessness, their overwhelm-the-system/Cloward-Piven strategy and their anti-American agenda. It’s also an excellent example of progressives’ stunning hypocrisy.
 
While little-to-nothing is being done to return this current flood of illegals to their home countries, who can forget the infamous Elian Gonzalez episode? Remember When Democrats Booted Parentless Hispanic Children From the U.S.? And remember that Eric Holder, our present (lawless!) Attorney General was smack in the middle of the drama?

… it was (then) Deputy Attorney General Eric Holder who concocted the “legal” cover for the INS to mace, kick, stomp, and gun-butt their way into the home of Elian Gonzalez’s legal custodians (legal U.S. citizens and residents all) on the morning of April 22, 2000, wrench a bawling 6-year-old child from his family at machine-gun point and bundle him off to Castro’s terror-sponsoring fiefdom, leaving 102 people (legal U.S. citizens and residents all) injured, some seriously.

That was little more than a decade ago. Now Holder, and his pal Barack, are welcoming illegal aliens with open arms – and billions of tax-payer dollars. Because when it comes to progressives, ideology always trumps principle. So of course, they simply can’t avoid being hypocrites.
