Last summer it was a hapless rodeo clown »
This year, it’s a goofy parade float.
That’s right. Relentlessly pursuing their totalitarian agenda of stamping out all dissent, the iron-fisted O’Ministration is now “investigating…” – drum roll please – a 4th of July parade float:
Eric Holder’s Justice Dept. investigates Nebraska farmer’s possible abuse of power ~
If you’ve been asking for the Justice Department to get involved in the IRS scandal, well, that’s just not going to happen. That is, unless Lois Lerner’s “missing” emails somehow ended up in a mock outhouse on this parade float ~
The U.S. Department of Justice has joined the discussions over a controversial float in the Norfolk Independence Day parade.
The department sent a member of its Community Relations Service Team, which gets involved in discrimination disputes, to a Thursday meeting about the issue.Source: Omaha.com
Good grief.
So I’ll bet you’re asking yourself, gee, how are all those investigations involving “controversial” protest displays from the Bush years coming along?
arrested for inciting lynching?
Surely the “Community Relations Service Team” looked into
« this charming exhibit;

campaign rally in Denver, Oct. 26, 2008???

Wait – what?
Oh yeah. When George W. Bush was in office, any form of inflammatory protest was acceptable. In fact, the anti-Bush crowd seemed to compete with one another for the most outrageous display of hate…
Zombie has dozens more pix, each sentiment more vile than the next.
Worse yet, actual death threats against Bush at protests were ignored for years. In 2006, a British film even released a mock documentary titled “Death of a President,” depicting the imagined assassination of President Bush. The Left loved it.
The double-standards are simply astounding. As Doug Powers (at Michelle Malkin’s blog) wonders ~
Was the First Amendment updated to specify Americans “can’t make fun of the president” the day Obama entered office?
All kidding aside, the growing intimidation of anyone who criticizes the Obama administration is reminiscent of every fascist regime the world has ever been afflicted with. This government persecution should be absolutely chilling to Americans of every political persuasion; to each and every one of us who cherish our precious freedoms.
