Any day now the death toll in Africa from the latest Ebola outbreak is expected to reach 1000. When it does, our deliberately obtuse mainstream media probably won’t even mention the somber milestone – or any other real facts about this deadly disease.
But hey – what’s new? As John Nolte at Breitbart points out, we have at least 5 compelling Reasons Not to Trust the ‘What Me Worry’ Media About Ebola. Hint- all of them have to do with serial lying.)
For instance, have any of the network news types bothered to ask a well-respected medical expert like Dr. Ben Carson for his thoughts on dealing with this potential pandemic? Like Newsmax TV did in this Aug. 4th interview?

It’s the government’s duty to protect its citizens… weighing the risks…
… our policies should be directed against the worst-case scenario, not against best-case scenario.
To paraphrase Dr. Carson –
Why even risk importing Ebola into this country? We could have sent a fully-equipped plane to treat the stricken Americans in place. Our infectious disease specialists are well prepared to deal with such an exigency and “we can export that preparedness.”
Also disconcerting is the atypical way in which the virus has spread this time. Retired border patrol agent referenced this in THIS VIDEO, describing the unusual way that this particular Ebola outbreak has moved; from three separate urban areas – at the same time.
Taken together with the administration’s pathological dishonesty and the media’s malpractice, you really don’t have to be a conspiracy theorist to start feeling awfully uneasy with this disturbing situation…
