Let’s hope modern medicine can stop this 21st century plague before it claims 1/3 of the world’s population like the “Black Death” did back in the mid 14th century. Although, recalling this post from August 2011 (Daily Kos writer: We could use ‘global superplague’ to stop overpopulation), I’m not sure all our friends on the Left would agree.
