These days so many countries across the globe are experiencing war, civil unrest, terrorism and natural disasters on an ongoing basis. And for women affected by all this turmoil, simply being a mother can be a frightening prospect.

Samaritan’s Purse is working to restore the joy of motherhood in Cambodia. We have built two new birthing centers for women to safely deliver their babies, and we’re teaching them the benefits of breastfeeding, how to cook nutritious meals, and the importance of making sure their children drink clean water. Most importantly, we’re sharing the message of unconditional love through the Gospel. As these women accept Christ as Savior, they are also sharing their new faith with their children.
