As the jaded masses in western societies more and more turn away from the one true God, they’re left with an emptiness in their souls that inevitably must be filled with something else.

Houston’s ‘Greater Church of Lucifer’ Opening on Halloween

Founder, “Jacob No,” said the Luciferians promise to offer people a different kind of “church experience.”
 
“As individuals, we seek to express our insight towards attaining apotheosis, Lords of our spiritual and carnal world. As a foundation, GCOL seeks to inspire the few in the masses towards self-excellence and change,” No said. “We just want to coexist.”

(Sure. Where have we heard that syrupy sentiment before? As if good and evil can actually “coexist.”)

CBN News spoke with local pastor, Mark Estep, of Spring Baptist Church. He believes that, because they’re lost and don’t know Jesus, the (Christian) church needs to reach out to the Luciferians with truth and love.

 
 
The Luciferian literature that Pastor Estep discovered claims that the group aren’t Satanists, but they do believe that when Lucifer (the name – Latin in origin – means “light bearer”) fell from heaven, he was released from the chains of bondage, “freed” to think for himself; to suddenly “see the light.” The organization says they don’t “worship” Lucifer, rather they promote “self-worship.” (Sounds like a large number of Americans would fit right in with these folks!)
 

Don’t buy the we’re-not-Satanic ruse. (We are, after all, talking about the Father of Lies here.) The “Greater Church of Lucifer’s” Facebook page (which I am deliberately NOT linking to) features stylized pentagrams, along with images of horns and an inverted cross. Oh – and they proudly offer to perform free same-sex “marriages.”

 
As their worldview shifts away from Judeo-Christian values, many westerners will fall prey to Satan’s temptation in one form or another, be it “New Age” spiritualism, Islam, the cult of (Hollywood)celebrity or – Luciferianism. Don’t take the bait. Turn toward the true Light.
