Yep, it time to pack a shoebox – or two – again, and sent it off to a needy child via Samaritan’s Purse.
Here’s the story of one young Ugandan girl who shares how a shoebox – and the gospel of Jesus Christ – impacted her life ~
We’ve been participating in the this project for five or six years now. This year I was tempted to just sent a check. But then I remembered how much I’d be missing out on by not filling the box(es) myself. It really is fun shopping with a specific child in mind, sending the gift off with a prayer, and being able to track where it goes. Not to mention, it’s a great way to get in the Christmas spirit!
So go find some goodies, pack up a box, wrap it in Christmas paper and drop it off at the nearest collection center the week of November 16-23.
