First of all, America is NOT a racist nation. Almost continuously since our founding, we have welcomed people from every land, every color and every creed. Yet outwardly diverse – we’re united in our common desire for freedom, liberty and opportunity for all. Or at least we used to be – until the fundamental transformer came along.
This country has flourished – and been a magnet for others – because our Constitution states that all men are created equal. The fruit of that foundational belief is the most prosperous nation in history (Even our poor are among the world’s wealthiest!). And although we haven’t always lived up to the ideal, we still affirm it and work to improve.
Unquestionably Americans are the most accepting, accomodating people on the planet. And we deserve better than President Obama’s acrimonious, divisive rhetoric ~ 7 Disgusting Things Obama Said While Hijacking Memorial For Slain Dallas Police ~

7. Ignoring Solutions – This was the key point: Obama thinks that solutions are secondary to talking about feelings. He believes he’s the national psychiatrist. “In the end, it’s not about finding policies that work. It’s about forging consensus and fighting cynicism and finding the will to make change.” This is perhaps the most concise summary of Democratic nincompoopery ever spoken. It isn’t government’s job to heal your soul. It’s government’s job to solve problems like crime. But Obama doesn’t care about that. He thinks he’s a soul-healer, and that government is the Great God-Being that can save us all, so long as we open our hearts to it.
Instead, we need to be hearing the truth from black men like this ~

No one should imagine that any of this is helping the black community. The surge in murder rates across the country, in the wake of the anarchy unleashed after the Ferguson, Missouri and Baltimore riots, has taken a wholly disproportionate number of black lives.
But, to the race hustlers, black lives don’t really matter nearly as much as their chance to get publicity, power, money, votes or whatever else serves their own interests.
The mainstream media play a large, and largely irresponsible, role in the creation and maintenance of a poisonous racial atmosphere that has claimed the lives of policemen around the country.

Why is no one asking how these men’s families and communities failed them so badly that they became criminals or thugs? If you look up “tough” in the dictionary, my grandmother’s picture will come up. If you were raised under her and acted up, after she got done with you you’d wish the police had gotten to you first. I’m glad my father was raised in such an environment. Discipline happens in the home, and it starts early. When it doesn’t, the police are left to clean up the mess of deeply broken human beings who were already doomed before their first interaction with the law. It’s totally unfair to ask the police to treat hardened criminals with kid gloves.
If we’re ever going to return to our founding principles it won’t be by listening to the petty, churlish lecturing of Barack Obama. It will be by honestly assessing and addressing the problems – and working together to heal the divisions the Left keeps instigating.
