It’s become a cliché by now, but September 11, 2011 really was a wake-up call. The tragedy should have opened our eyes not just to the fact that a theological movement claiming to be a religion-of-peace wants us all submitted or dead, but to the reality that America – without God – is lost.
Although we were all shocked watching the horrific events of that day unfold, some of us never did wake up. Even worse though, far too many have fallen back asleep.
If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves
and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways,
then I will hear them from heaven, and will forgive their sin
and heal their land. ~ 2 Chronicles 7:14
