It’s definitely spreading; from Britain to the U.S. and now it seems to France. We – the average citizens in our respective countries – have had it with our elite rulers pushing globalism. We like our individual cultures, and we want to keep them.
In France, the current champions of national sovereignty are Marine Le Pen and Marion Maréchal-Le Pen, an aunt and niece, both members of the Front National party (founded by Marine’s father, Jean-Marie Le Pen).
There may just be as many French people – proportionally – who want to “make France great again” as there were Americans who supported Trump for the U.S. rendition of that sentiment. The Le Pen’s and their Front National Party are France’s version of the Trump phenomenon. Marine is a solid contender in next year’s presidential race.
As the moderate UK Daily Mail commented ~
The length of France, voters appear to be lurching further towards the extreme Right than at any time in recent history. Almost one in three first-round voters backed the National Front, which was founded 43 years ago by the embittered ex-paratrooper and street-brawler Le Pen.
Doesn’t the Mail want to know the reason(s) for the lurch? It’s pretty clear that the average French citizen has had it with the EU and elite politicians over-running the country with refugees who don’t want to become French but who do want to import Islam. They find it refreshing to hear Marine Le Pen call for ending free education to illegal alien children whose parents have violated French law by arriving and staying in France ~
“I’ve got nothing against foreigners but I say to them: if you come to our country, don’t expect that you will be taken care of, treated (by the health system) and that your children will be educated for free,” Le Pen said. “That’s finished now, it’s the end of playtime,” she told a conference in Paris in comments that provoked a storm of condemnation from the Socialist government.
But clearly, as PJ Media points out ~
France is being eaten alive by its former colonials from North Africa and the Middle East; the same hordes turned back by Charles Martel at the battle of Tours now effectively have the run of the place, murdering French priests in their churches and shooting innocent concert-goers in Paris.
The younger Le Pen also speaks for many who are understandably upset over the growing threat of terrorism in France ~
(S)hortly after the Nice attack (on Bastille Day last summer), Marion Maréchal-Le Pen, niece to Marine Le Pen and one of the FN’s two National Assembly members, told her supporters: “Either we kill Islamism or it will kill us again and again. You are with us and against Islamism, or you are against us and for Islamism… Those who choose the status quo become complicit with our enemies.”
Expanding on the comments in an interview with The Telegraph, she says that radical Islam is implacably opposed to the French secular way of life. “We have a heritage of faith linked to secularity, and I would always defend that. It’s quite opposite to the radical Islamic faith, which seeks to impose itself more and more on public life.”
Challenged over her views on the grounds that they would appall many, she responds: “I have exposed reality.”Source: Breitbart
It’s that reality that many other Europeans are waking up to as well: Majority of French, Austrian Voters View Globalisation as Threat [German as well – and Italian (see below)] ~
The survey showed 55 per cent of Austrian respondents and 54 per cent of French view globalisation as a threat but the numbers among people who support populist parties were much higher.
76 per cent of Front National (FN) supporters and 69 per cent of respondents who back the Freedom Party of Austria (FPO) say they fear globalisation. This was also the case for 78 per cent of Germans who support the populist Alternative for Germany (AfD) party.
Concerns over globalisation were a greater determinant of support for populist parties than other factors such as traditional values and economic anxiety, Reuters reported. [….]
Economist Branko Milanović commented that Western elites “have continually piled up larger and larger gains, all the while socially and mentally separating themselves from fellow citizens”.
The elite ruling class in Europe has been using the Islamic invasion as a means to deconstruct nation-states. That’s the reality that people are waking up to and they want their countries and their cultures back. Marion Maréchal-Le Pen is outspoken in her defense of French culture. Regarding Muslim immigrants ~
“These people arrive with a different language and culture and without being educated in the same way about women’s rights,” she says. […]
“I want France to remain true to the adage, ‘When in Rome, do as the Romans do.’ I don’t want a culture imported from elsewhere. That’s not a racialist vision. It has nothing to do with skin colour.”
The global elitists are power-hungry. They want borders eliminated because that makes it much easier to control populations. It’s encouraging to see that the populations aren’t quite willing to submit yet.

Italy’s referendum shows people are fed up of being lied to by Europhile leaders ~
The real lesson of Italy’s referendum (12-4-16) – and of almost every recent electoral contest – is that people are in an almighty strop with their rulers. If voters are offered a choice between corporatist technocrats and angry populists, they pick the populists. […]
The Italians even have a word for the phenomenon: “trasformismo”. It dates from the years after unification, when parties of the radical Left would find ways to form Centrist coalitions and ditch the promises on which they had been elected. In consequence, a gap opened between the “paese legale” (the politicians, officials and corporate leaders) and the “paese reale” (everyone else).
What a neat way to describe what is happening across Europe today. Ever since the 2008 crash, there has been a rift between government and governed, between the “continente legale” and the “continente reale”. Voters saw hundreds of billions of pounds taken from them through taxation in order to rescue some very wealthy bankers and bondholders from the consequences of their own errors. To this day, no one has been able to tell them what happened to the money or where it is.
