Last Sunday, Mark Levin spoke with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on his Life, Liberty & Levin show on Fox. In case you missed it, here are the first 14 minutes ~

Among the topics they discussed ~
His relationship with Donald Trump
Very positive. There’s a certain chemistry between the two. He appreciates that Trump cuts through the (B.S.), gets right to the point.
Life in America
(Netanyahu spent most of his teen years in the U.S. while his father worked as a professor in the Philadelphia area.)
One very important lesson; for a country to thrive it needs a robust private sector – free markets. For example, Israel wouldn’t have been nearly as successful in the field of technology without the competition afforded by the free market.
What makes America special
Freedom. And the fact that it’s a meritocracy. He appreciates the significant difference America made to Israel’s prospects after World War II, when our country became the world leader.
America and Israel are part of the same civilization.
Israel’s enemies
“Iran, Iran, Iran.” And no wonder, with this sort of aggressive rhetoric ➡ ‘We will level Tel Aviv to the ground’ senior Iranian official warns Israel. Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran’s Expediency Council, issued this threat last month ~
“If they [Israel] carry out the slightest unwise move against Iran, we will level Tel Aviv to the ground and will not give any opportunity to Netanyahu to flee.”
Israel can’t afford not to take the world’s largest sponsor at terror at their word; they must stay hyper-vigilant. They’re a tiny country, with a very thin margin for error.
The good news, as Netanyahu explained, is that most Arab countries in the region have come to realize that the biggest threat to peace in the Middle East isn’t Israel – it’s Iran. Subsequently, their relationships with those other nations have been improving.
Netanyahu’s “scandals”
Recently, the prime minister has been under attack by political adversaries in his own country. They’re desperately trying to find some evidence of corruption ~ Israel’s ‘Deep State’ Targets Netanyahu with Bogus Charges. As Caroline Glick notes in this recent article, this is another thing the prime minister has in common with our president ~
Over the past year, as the police investigations dragged on, investigators fed the media with a never-ending stream of negative leaks that all disparaged and vilified Netanyahu […}
(T)the parallels between the indictment of Netanyahu and the witch hunt against President Trump are remarkable.
So far any evidence of wrongdoing has been awfully flimsy; accusations have come from those opposed to his politics. In one instance, the key witness against Netanyahu, Yair Lapid, is his chief political rival! (No ulterior motive there 😉 )
When Levin intimated that perhaps these “scandals” are a little too convenient for the prime minister’s opposition, Netanyahu replied, “you’re very perceptive.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Not only is Benjamin Netanyahu a courageous leader and a wise statesman, he shares the worldview of most Americans. After the rocky Obama years, it’s good to know our country is once again firmly allied with the state of Israel – and her prime minister.
