Praying for God’s blessing on Israel

Today, May 14th, 2018, represents a remarkable nexus of events in the history of the state of Israel.

First, it’s the 70th anniversary of the country’s Declaration of independence.
Second, it’s Yom Yerushalayim, also known as Jerusalem Day, which commemorates Jerusalem’s reunification in 1967.
Third, the U.S. embassy, relocated from Tel Aviv, is officially opening in Jerusalem.

While these are all reasons for God-fearing, freedom-loving people everywhere to celebrate, Islamists aren’t quite so joyful. In another calendar coincidence – an unfortunate one – Ramadan begins in just two days. It runs from May 16th to June 14th this year – always a season of heightened jihad and attacks against the infidels.

Furthermore, the Palestinians are getting restless. As the Times of Israel notes, when Nakba Day meets US embassy move day, expect fireworks in Gaza.

Nakba means “catastrophe” which is how the Palestinians view the establishment of the State of Israel. It is commemorated on May 15th every year ~

May 14, 2018, will likely go down in history as one of the most festive days that Israel has ever known. At long last, the United States, the world’s greatest superpower, will move its embassy to Jerusalem. The prime minister will give a speech, joined by his ministers and US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, with — just possibly — a guest appearance by US President Donald Trump himself; a real celebration.

But an “alternative party” is already in the works: enormous Palestinian protest events, with the largest of them planned for the Gaza Strip. Preparations are under way for marches that will set out toward the border fence with Israel. Such a massive event, on the scale of the refugees’ march to the Israeli-Syrian border on the Golan Heights on Nakba Day in 2011, could become problematic for the State of Israel and for the Israeli army — to put it mildly.

(T)his year it is is a particularly explosive combination: the seventieth anniversary of the “catastrophe” alongside the celebrations that Israel and the US are planning regarding Jerusalem and moving the embassy. Thus, on the Palestinian side there could be a surplus of motivation among the public to go out and take part in these events, including marches toward the border fence in Gaza.

No doubt the IDF will have their hands full for the next few days. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem – and all of Israel ~

Pray for supernatural protection to be over all of Israel, and over all of her people during these days of observance in celebration. Pray that not one act of terror will succeed … that not one drop Jewish blood will be spilled, giving glory to allah.

YAHWEH bless you and keep you,
YAHWEH make his face to shine upon on you and be gracious to you;
YAHWEH turn his face toward you and give you peace.

(National Security Advisor, John Bolton): Recognizing Jerusalem makes peace easier ~

Bolton said on Sunday that Washington recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel will make achieving peace easier.

“It’s a recognition of reality. If you’re not prepared to recognize that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel and that’s where the American embassy should be, then you’re operating on a completely different wavelength,” he said an interview on ABC’s “This Week”.

“I think recognizing reality always enhances the chances for peace,” Bolton added.

I love this guy! :)
