Remember decades ago when “intolerance” was the worst sin progressives could pin on you? Every time we conservatives tried to push back against their radical social agenda they demanded to know “Who are you to judge? You bigot!” Well, once they started down that road – misapplying Scripture and bastardizing the English language – it was inevitable: the Left has turned into the very scourge they accused the Right of being: INTOLERANT.
Here is just the latest example of their illiberal ideology…
Considering their totalitarian behavior last weekend, the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, VA must have named itself after the red color typically associated with communism. Such intolerance for any opinion other than the radical leftist party line is reminiscent of Lenin, Marx and Stalin ~ Restaurant Owner Kicks Out Sarah Sanders ~
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was kicked out of the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Virginia by the owner because of her work for President Donald Trump, she confirmed to The Daily Caller.
Incredibly, the smug, little fascist would proudly do it again ~
“I would have done the same thing again,” Stephanie Wilkerson, co-owner of the Red Hen, said. “We just felt there are moments in time when people need to live their convictions. This appeared to be one.”
Wilkerson added, “I have a business, and I want the business to thrive. This feels like the moment in our democracy when people have to make uncomfortable actions and decisions to uphold their morals.”
Unfortunately, Wilkerson is part of a growing movement of thuggish thought police; absolutely intolerant of any view but their own ~

On Monday, The New York Times ran an op-ed from Bryan W. Van Norden, professor of philosophy at Wuhan University, Yale-NUS College and Vassar College, calling for de-platforming of all conservative dissenters. Why? Because those opinions are bad, of course.
“If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd, and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” Waters said.
If these neo-Totalitarians ever heard of the Golden Rule they long ago rejected it, apparently believing they’re justified in treating their fellow citizens like crap in the name of the Resistance. This offensive, sophomoric, uncivil behavior has no place in America. Are there any adults left in the Democrat party with the courage to stand up to these unhinged bigots?

(I)f any conservative had called for mobs to badger Democrats when they’re at the supermarket, the nation would be thrust into a national dialogue about the growing and perilous incivility on the Right. To some extent, Trump invites this sort of reaction. Then again, to some extent, political Trump exists because of the decades of hyperbolic attacks on Republicans. Fact is, Democrats make little distinction between soft-spoken moderates like Paul Ryan or crude sometimes-conservatives like Trump. Democrats have been comparing Republicans to Nazis since the 1960s.
