As I’ve pointed out numerous times now, Sweden has been undergoing a stealth Muslim invasion for almost two decades. The huge influx of migrants has changed the Scandinavian country in fundamental ways – maybe irrevocably.
 
Swedes have always seemed a pretty, peaceful, relatively passive people, their country orderly and law-abiding. And since so many of them are blond and blue-eyed (hope that’s not my cultural bigotry showing or something) I’m reminded of the Eloi in H.G. Wells’ The Time Machine. Contented and complacent, the Eloi were easily intimated by the hostile, controlling Morlocks.
 
 
Well, it seems at long last, these mild-mannered folks have had enough, or – as Politico puts it: “Sweden freaks out.” The country’s upcoming elections may lead to a political sea change.

For anyone paying attention, Europe has been morphing into Eurabia for years now…

Thousands of Muslim immigrants have fled their war-torn homes in the Middle East to settle in quaint European cities filled with naïve and welcoming townspeople.
 
This has been true in France, England, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, and Sweden.
 
Since the great migration into Europe, crime, largely committed by migrants, has gone up manifold, leaving many to reassess their naïveté about hosting duties.

Sweden is home to nearly 10 million people. The Muslim population is nearing 10% of that, well over 800,000. And because their fertility rate is significantly higher than that of the native population, their numbers are projected to grow at a much more rapid rate. And what’s really concerning; they’re growing increasingly more radicalized ~

A new study[1] of Salafism in Sweden, conducted by the Swedish Defence University, paints a bleak picture of the ongoing radicalization of Muslims in Sweden […]
 
“Salafists”, the authors of the study conclude, “…advocate gender segregation, demand that women veil themselves to limit ‘sexual temptation’, restrict women’s role in the public sphere and strongly oppose listening to music and some sports activities”[3].
 
According to the study, many Salafists also tell Muslims not to have Swedish friends, and refer to them as “kufr”, the Arabic term for a non-Muslim or “disbeliever”.

In their “Sweden freaks out” article, Politico discusses the rapid rise of the Sweden Democrat party, characterizing them as “far-right” of course for simply wanting a halt to immigration, and a return to law and order. Downplaying downplaying the Islamist threats, as progressives everywhere are inclined to do, the news site seem rather baffled by the fact that normal Swedish would suddenly exhibit a surge of nationalism. Stephen Brown at Politico must have missed this last summer –

The security situation in Sweden is now so critical that the national police chief, Dan Eliasson, has asked the public for help; the police are unable to solve the problems on their own. In June, the Swedish police released a new report, “Utsatta områden 2017”, (“Vulnerable Areas 2017”, commonly known as “no-go zones” or lawless areas). It shows that the 55 no-go zones of a year ago are now 61.

And this is rather unsettling ~

In 2015, at the height of the migrant crisis, when Sweden received over 160,000 migrants, 14,000 of them who were told that they were going to be deported disappeared inside Sweden without a trace. As late as April 2017, Sweden was still looking for 10,000 of them […]
 
Meanwhile, Sweden continues to receive returning ISIS fighters from Syria, a courtesy that hardly improves the security situation. Sweden, so far, has received 150 returning ISIS fighters.

Of course the elites see no cause for alarm. In fact, any protests from the peasants are ignored, or treated as thought crimes ~

When police officer Peter Springare said in February that migrants were committing a disproportionate amount of crime in the suburbs, he was investigated for inciting “racial hatred”.

Speaking up, pointing out the increasing crime rate associated with the migrant community, expressing concern about escalating violence, rapes, no-go zones is of course, under the new Orwellian standards of the Left, “hate speech” ~

Sweden is being swept by a strong wave of murder, violent assault, rape, gang rape and sexual assault, in addition to the ever-present terror threat. Instead of using its limited resources to protect its citizens from the violent onslaught against them, Sweden is waging a legal war on its pensioners for daring to speak out against the same violent onslaught from which the state is failing to protect them.

The Swedish government has increasingly turned a blind eye to rapidly rising crime rate ~

In September 2016, Prime Minister Stefan Löfven and Minister of Interior Anders Ygeman refused to see the warnings: in 2015, only 14% of all crimes in Sweden were solved, and in 2016, 80% of police officers were allegedly considering quitting the force. Both ministers refused to call it a crisis.

 
Is is any wonder that the beleaguered Eloi are finally waking up? Here’s more from the Political piece ~

The land of ‘lagom’ (meaning “moderation and balance”) looks ahead to political instability fueled by the rise of the far right.
 
But as long as incidents of gangland violence in certain deprived suburbs of Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö continue to hog the headlines, it’s crime and migration rather than social and economic issues that dominate the campaign. And the Sweden Democrats have no qualms about linking violence and migration.

 
That’s the elites talking. The people, wise now to the Emperor’s New Clothes, are keenly aware that there is a link. And the Swedish Democrat party isn’t afraid to be their voice ~

“In all polls, the Social Democrats and Moderates are going down and we are rising. So, if we do our job properly and the others continue doing their job as poorly as they have done so far … we definitely have a shot at being the biggest party,” said Paula Bieler, an MP who sits on the (Swedish Democrats’) executive board and is its spokesperson on migration. For it to gain power, other parties would “really have to change [their promise not to negotiate with the far right] or we’d have to get 51 percent, and I don’t think that’s credible this year.”
 
That the right-wing upstarts should be able to speak with such confidence is already a shock to Sweden’s self-image as a pillar of tolerance and stability. To admirers of the Swedish model, it is another nail in the coffin of the multicultural “humanitarian superpower” that is the still the third-largest recipient of refugees in the world. To those who regard Sweden as a self-righteous nanny state that has invited trouble by opening its doors to asylum seekers, the growth of the Sweden Democrats is a timely comeuppance […]
 
Whatever happens in September, the Sweden Democrats will be “too big to ignore,” if they are not already, said Bieler. “Even if they don’t want to talk to us directly or form a proper coalition, they will of course know the power we have.”

It’s no wonder the Swedish people are looking elsewhere for solutions; their leaders have clearly failed them. It’s a phenomenon taking place all over Europe. Following trends we’ve seen in France, Italy and Britain, even the sedate Swedes may have finally had enough.

It may seem compassionate to import large numbers of Third World immigrants facing chaos in their poverty-riddled home countries and continents. But Europe’s experience with that is extremely complicated. It’s not at all clear that this kind of compassion has conclusively benefited either the givers or the recipients, especially when many recipients actively resist assimilation into the philosophy and ways of life that have created the prosperity and stability they’re fleeing to, and their host countries are apparently clueless on that score as well.
