How Israel is blessing the earth

“I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you
And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you, and curse him who curses you:
and in you shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

~ Genesis 12:3

In a recent video from The Glazov Gang, Jamie Glazov talked with Avi Jorisch, author of a new book – Thou Shalt Innovate; How Israeli Ingenuity Repairs the World .

Jorisch speaks about a sort of directive (from God) he believes is ingrained in the Jewish people, one that pushes them to be “a force for good around the world.” That mission has manifested in a myriad of ways; discoveries, inventions, innovations – improving the lives of millions around the world ~

Think of this. The global Jewish population is estimated to be just under 16 million. That’s one out of every 514 people, less than 0.2 percent of mankind. Yet, amazingly, this tiny ethnic group accounts for 22% of Nobel laureates. Coincidence? Or the hand of God?

I believe the later. God Himself decreed that His chosen people would bless all the families of the earth – and they clearly have. And this despite the fact that they have been the most persecuted ethnic group ever. The very fact that the Jews have survived, thrived and contribute so much to the betterment of humanity – vastly disproportionate to every other nationality – is truly compelling evidence for God’s existence.
