Saturday Shorts – 12-3-11

Random links of interest, concern or curiosity from the past week or so, that deserve at least a SHORT mention:

Abortion Nearly Triples Breast Cancer Risk, New Study Finds ~ The study, published in Taylor & Francis, also found that delaying a first full-term pregnancy, which is frequently done by women having abortions, also raises the breast cancer risk wheras giving birth resulted in a 64% reduced risk.
Rather than donating money to Planned Parenthood, wouldn’t you think that if the Susan G. Komen Foundation was sincere they’d inform women about the increased risk? So does the Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer.

Is Obama Building A Bunker Under The White House Lawn? ~ Things that make you go “hmmmm…”

MAP OF THE DAY(Nov.28th): Every Traffic Fatality In The US Since 2001 ~ Sobering visual. Please drive safely this holiday season. (Or move to Alaska.)

Reversing U.S. Retreat from the Arctic ~ The Heritage Foundation details yet another area where our anti-American bureaucrats are failing to protect U.S. concerns:

A key national interest like this is not an appropriate target for budget cuts. After all, if successful, Arctic exploration could solve multiple economic problems, from creating jobs to reducing dependency on foreign oil from unstable regions.

Too bad those aren’t priorities with the D.C. crowd.

Made in the USA Forever ~ Over 2900 Products! All Made in USA!
Spending those Christmas dollars wisely.

Live Nativity Scene Displayed at Supreme Court ~ Camel and all. :)
“Just because some leaders try to tell us it’s no longer a Christian nation, doesn’t mean that you don’t have the right to try to prove that is is.”
