Sounds like the whole global climate change scam may have finally crashed. Well, at least its usefulness as a propaganda tool for the utopians is fading fast.
Conspicuously absent from last week’s United Nations’ Rio+20 conference was the environmental alarmism so evident at previous gatherings. Seems the elites have finally figured out that the world-wide rabble just isn’t buying their Anthropogenic (man-made) Global Warming crappola.
One of the welcome voices of common sense from across the Atlantic, Lord Christopher Monckton, attended the conference in Rio De Janeiro and reported on this promising development. Monckton, a British politician, public speaker and former newspaper editor, spoke with The New American last Saturday:
“This whole conference right from the start has had the stink of death upon it,” he observed. “The environment is no longer cool. It’s no longer green. It’s no longer fashionable.”
He added:”They realized they could no longer bring forward the climate as an excuse, and you barely heard climate change mentioned here.”
That’s not to say that the AGW scam has been totally abandoned. “It’s still there, but it’s no longer the number one issue.”
And certainly the One-World-Government agenda is still in place, but now the champagne and caviar crowd needs a new manipulation strategy. So their re-boot message has become:
the world’s most serious problem is poverty – and socialism is the solution.
The New American article continues:
Ironically though, global socialism is exactly what the would-be managers of the world are offering as the means to end poverty. Of course, global socialism would result in more poverty, not less; and it would also result in the loss of freedom. At Rio+20, Monckton noted, “They were still effectively talking about a mechanization for setting up a global government so that they could shut down the West, shut down democracy, and bring freedom to an end worldwide.”
If the change in emphasis from environmental issues to poverty sounds surprising, it is not, once it is realized that the crusade to save the Earth from environmental destruction really was not about saving the environment. Monckton noted that the modern-day environmental movement has been co-opted by what he terms “the traffic light tendency — the greens too yellow to admit they’re really Reds.”
So the crusade for One World Government has now shifted the front, but their assault on individual liberty marches on.
As an aside to the Rio+20 circus, the enviro-wacko crowd tried to co-opt Jesus for their nefarious utopian agenda. They actually painted Rio’s iconic statue of Christ the Redeemer green.
Fortunately, God has His own agenda. The weather for the week was rainy and overcast, rendering the green statue mostly invisible.
Message to the mis-guided:
Our true heaven is not going to be found through man’s puny efforts here on earth.
