Last week the President of Americans for Truth about Homosexuality, Peter LaBarbera, was prevented from entering Canada for a speaking engagement simply because of the intolerance of a local homosexual activist group. Incredibly, the extremist segment of Canada’s LGBT crowd have managed to criminalize the very act of criticizing their lifestyle; anyone who holds a belief about human sexuality that’s contrary to theirs’ must be silenced. Known “offenders” are not even allowed into the supposedly free country now, as evidenced by this recent incident: American Christian Held in Canadian ‘Brig’ For ‘Thought Crimes’ ~

Peter (LaBarbera) was invited to Canada by the Saskatchewan Pro-life Association to speak on the unholy alliance between the political movement to defend the “right” to destroy human life in utero and the movement to normalize sodomy and sodomitic relationships.

 
Instead, last Thursday night, he was stopped at the border by Canadian thought police. In Peter’s own words ~

Upon deplaning, as I passed through Customs, I was delayed for further questioning by an official with the Canada Border Services Agency. Obviously, I had been flagged as a result of a campaign by the leftist group “Intolerance Free Weyburn,” which is specifically lobbying the Canadian government to deny my entry into Canada as the alleged purveyor of “hate” […]
 
After questioning me about the purpose of my scheduled presentation at the SPLA event; rifling through my luggage, which contained numerous books and literature related to homosexuality (pro and con); examining the contents of my laptop and my cell phone; playing a DVD of my speech Wednesday at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio; and critically viewing AFTAH’s website–a preliminary decision was made to deny my entrance into Canada on the basis that my speech at the SPLA would violate Canada’s “Hate Propaganda” law (essentially the potential for “public incitement of hatred” against a group of people based on their “sexual orientation”).
 
The Orwellian experience at Customs dragged on for more than three hours as a formal document was issued outlining my denial of entry under Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (citing the Hate Propaganda code). Finally, after 1:00 A.M., I was released pending my appeal of the decision today (4-11-14).

 
I don’t know about you, but this outrageous occurrence certainly offended me, prompting the following communication with The Honourable Chris Alexander, Canadian Minister of Citizenship and Immigration ~

Dear Sir:
 
Wow. I’ve lived just across the border in Michigan my whole life but haven’t been to the “True North” country for several years now, so I was shocked to learn that the “True” modifier no longer applies. After all, what nation can claim they stand for truth when the government claims a monopoly on that commodity?
 
And how can a nation be “glorious and free” when simply espousing a differing worldview is a criminal offense? I’m referring to an incident in Regina last Thursday evening when your Border Service saw fit to detain American citizen Peter LaBarbera, President of Americans for Truth about Homosexuality.
 
Nobody “rights” are being violated by Mr. LaBarbera speaking at a private gathering of the Saskatchewan Pro-life Association; anyone who is “offended” by his beliefs doesn’t have to listen. No, this is clearly anti-Christian bigotry and discrimination.
 
Essentially LaBarbera was denied entry into your country simply because a local LGBT organization demanded his exclusion.
 
In Canada? Really?
 
Even here in the Land of Obama where the war on Christianity is well underway, the First Amendment to our Constitution hasn’t yet been officially repealed. This is the sort of tyranny one would expect in a totalitarian regime such as Nazi Germany, the former Soviet Union and North Korea – not in an allegedly “free” society.
 
This is a form of neo-fascism. Leftists like LGBT extremists can’t win in an open and honest arena of ideas so they must shut down dissent, suppress freedom of religion, even criminalize independent thought.
 
If your nation has really surrendered to the “Gaystopo” you should rewrite the Canadian national anthem, expunging the line, “God keep our land glorious and free.”
 
God has left the country.
And it’s certainly no longer free.
