Last Friday (May 26, 2017) the Religion of Peace struck again, slaughtering more Coptic Christians ~ Militants Attack Christians in Egypt, Killing at Least 28 ~

CAIRO (AP) — Masked militants riding in three SUVs opened fire Friday on a bus packed with Coptic Christians, including children, south of the Egyptian capital, killing at least 28 people and wounding 22, the Interior Ministry said.
 
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, the fourth to target Christians since December, but it bore the hallmarks of the Islamic State group. The attack came on the eve of the start of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

 
But wait – where are the heart-wrenching images flashed across our screens? Where are the teddy bear memorials? The candlelight vigils?
 
Unfortunately, in our superficial, celebrity-worshiping society, there’s a significant difference in news-worthiness between 22 dead young people attending the concert of a spoiled pop star, and 29 dead Egyptian Christians (including 10 children) going to pray at a monastery ~

The children were traveling with their parents to pray at an ancient monastery in central Egypt. Many suffered gunshot wounds to the head and chest, Bishop Makarios, a Coptic clergyman in Minya Province, told The Journal. Three children on board the bus reportedly survived.
 
 
Survivors claimed the killers left behind flyers about the holy Muslim month of Ramadan, which begins Friday evening. Local media also reported that the attackers were recording video themselves.

 
Meanwhile, in Dearborn, Michigan, more moderate Muslims are suing for $100 million over pork pepperoni.

A priest identified as Father Rashed, a chaplain for one of the groups comforting the survivors of the attack, said in an article in Breitbart News on Sunday that 10 masked Islamic State militants did not simply open fire on the bus on its way to the Monastery of Saint Samuel the Confessor.
 
Instead, the IS radicals apparently stopped the bus, made the victims walk out, and asked each of them, including the children, whether they were Christians.
 
Rashed explained that the victims “were asked to renounce their Christian faith and profess belief in Islam, but all of them — even the children — refused. Each was killed in cold blood with a gunshot to the head or the throat.”

Since Friday was the start of Muslims’ month of Ramadan (this year from sundown May 26 to sundown June 24), and killing infidels is apparently part of the “celebration,” we can expect a serious uptick in the usual carnage for another few weeks.
