The smoke from the gunfire of last week’s synagogue shooting had barely cleared before the leftist media began trying to shift blame for the tragedy from the killer to President Trump. What an shameless effort. A new low, even for the audacious fake news-meisters.
 
Somehow they’re trying to convince us that a president who 1.) moved our embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem; 2.) who dissolved the disastrous nuclear agreement with Iran (Israel’s number one existential threat); 3.) who is directly responsible for for the fact that – in the words of Prime Minister Netanyahu – the close relationship between the United States and the Jewish state that has “never been stronger,” and 4.) who incidentally has a Jewish daughter (Ivanka converted to Orthodox Judaism) and son-in-law — is anti-Semitic. Seriously?
 
 
The mainstreams are either fools – or they believe those listening to their propaganda are.
 

As we now know, the mass murderer, Robert Bowers, was a rabid anti-Semite. A Twitter user, movie director Robby Starbuck, managed to screen-grab some traces of his social media presence before they were deleted ~

“This monster is an unhinged anti-Semitic terrorist,” Starbuck tweeted.
 
(Bowers’ Twitter) profile clearly illustrates that he’s a Nazi, admired Hitler, hates Trump, believes Trump is controlled by Jews, he did not vote for Trump.

No question Bowers was a violent anti-Semite. But the “real” one I was referring to in the title of this post is of a much more sinister variety, a man whose ruinous influence is much more widespread; billionaire George Soros.
 
Soros is an old man of Jewish extraction who, like another infamous leftist, Karl Marx, seems to loathe his own heritage and ethnicity. The mainstreams rarely mention his name, preferring – I suspect – that we rubes not know much about the man behind the curtain (- truth be told, some of them are probably on his payroll). So here are some critical facts about the New York hedge fund manager, one of the most politically powerful individuals on earth and, as Discover-the-Networks explains, the prime mover behind the Democratic “Shadow Party” network ~
 

• A multi-billionaire in his own right, his firm, Soros Fund Management, controls at least $25 billion in investor assets
• George Soros was born to Tividar and Erzebat Schwartz, non-practicing Jews, in Budapest, Hungary on August 12, 1930. Today he recalls the German occupation of Hungary as “probably the happiest year of my life.”
• An ardent globalist who detests nationalism in any form, Soros believes America was never great
• Having made his own millions thanks to capitalism, Soros’ prefers socialism for the great unwashed masses
• Soros views himself as a missionary with something of a divine mandate to transform the world and its institutions into something better—as he sees it.
• He funds all manner of progressive causes, primarily through the flagship of the Soros foundation network—the New York City-based Open Society Foundations (OSF),
• One of the central contentions of OSF is the notion that America is institutionally an oppressive nation and a habitual violator of human rights both at home and abroad.
• Funds are dispersed to organizations which promote that viciously skewed portrait of our country (Discover-the-Networks has an extensive list). OSF supports causes that will further erode American society and our traditional values; racial discord, radical feminism, open borders, abortion, euthanasia, drug legalization, ANTIFA

 
Jim Geherty at National Review doesn’t believe the man’s critics should demonize him too much because, as he pointed out last week ~ The Truth about George Soros Is Damning Enough ~

In 2006, Soros said that “the main obstacle to a stable and just world is the United States.” Not Iran, not Russia, not China, not Islamist terrorist groups, not transnational crime . . . the United States.
 
In 2010, he declared that China has “a better functioning government than the United States.”
 
He has generously donated to groups that call on governments the world over to sever or downgrade their diplomatic relations with Israel and calls for Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) against Israel. He’s made several comments that some interpreted as blaming Jews for anti-Semitism, such as, “I don’t think that you can ever overcome anti-Semitism if you behave as a tribe . . . the only way you can overcome it is if you give up the tribalness.”

It is some of Soros’ fellow Jews who condemn his insidious influence the loudest – justifiably so. Daniel Greenfield (Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, investigative journalist and writer) does a stellar job with a piece he wrote in July 2017, “The Jewashing of George Soros” ~

George Soros hates Jews.
 
He collaborated with the Nazis during the Holocaust and insisted that helping confiscate property from Jews brought him no guilt. “There was no sense that I shouldn’t be there, because that was well, actually, in a funny way, it’s just like in markets that if I weren’t there of course, I wasn’t doing it, but somebody else would.” He described the season of these horrors as “the most exciting time of my life.”
 
Soros grew up in a “Jewish, anti-Semitic home”. He called his mother a “typical Jewish anti-Semite” who hated his first wife because she was “too Jewish”. After undergoing psychoanalysis, he was able to understand that his shame was rooted in his Jewishness. He had a special contempt for Jewish philanthropies after a failed attempt to defraud a Jewish charity in London.
 
He was booed when he undermined the presentation of an award to a Holocaust survivor by comparing Israeli Jews to Nazis. Elie Wiesel had declared in disgust, “I heard what happened. If I’d been there—and you can quote me—I would have walked out.” […]

George Soros is not a Holocaust survivor. He has spent much of his life collaborating with totalitarian movements whose goal is the extermination of the Jewish people.
 
He is not a victim of anti-Semitism. He is a perpetrator of anti-Semitism.

And yet the media is trying to convince us that Trump’s criticism of Soros is anti-Semitic. Greenfield points out their utter hypocrisy ~ The Anti-Semitic Media Fights Anti-Semitism ~

Anti-Semitism is a tactic. Dead Jews are just talking points used to immunize a lefty donor from scandal. Trump’s anti-Semitism is as necessary, as it is imaginary. (Jonathan Chait, New York Magazine) gets closest to what his political movement really means when he accuses Trump of practicing, “Anti-Semitism Without Jews”.
 
What Chait really means, but can’t quite say, is that the Left has redefined anti-Semitism to mean opposition to its own political agendas. Accusations of anti-Semitism don’t even require actual Jews.

Caroline Glick, a Jewish editor of the Jerusalem Post, discussed the skewed perspective of progressive Jews in the wake of the synagogue murders ~ Left-Wing Jews Blaming Trump Are Dishonoring the Dead ~

(W)hat we’re finding, particularly among left-wing Jews is that they’re using it to attack the administration and trying to conflate the Nazi who committed this massacre with President Trump. Obviously, nothing could be further from the truth.” […]
 
Glick noted the prevalence of anti-Zionism on the left and within the Democrat Party. Marlow said, “[There is] a mainstreaming of anti-Zionism in the Democratic Party.”
 
“There is a huge problem with the empowerment of anti-Semites,” said Glick. “You have several Democratic nominees for Congress who are running on openly anti-Zionists platforms. Anti-Zionism is out-and-out anti-Semitism. It calls for the annihilation of the largest Jewish community on Earth, in Israel. … [Trump] is the most supportive president Israel has ever had, [and] they’re calling him an anti-Semite?”

Exactly. Calling Donald Trump anti-Semitic is patently absurd. George Soros on the other hand…
