The story that’s all over conservative websites and social media today has been pointedly and completely ignored by the mainstream media. You would almost think the the Left and the Right exist in parallel universes. And in a way we do.
The Right actually lives in the real world, adjusting, adapting, overcoming obstacles as necessary. The Left refuses accept the world as they find it; life just isn’t “fair.” So rather that adapt, adjust and overcome, they try to squeeze, twist, and reshape it into some glorious vision of utopia. That’s correct, the ubiquitous search engine has decreed that Americans must not be allowed to reelect President Trump. Googlers are now the ultimate arbiters of truth, justice and “fairness.”
Blatant censorship by Google, YouTube and various social media sites is something we on the right have been well aware of for the last year or so. It’s hard to ignore the numbers: fewer clicks, shares, responses, and followers. Conservatives all across the web have been suppressed, de-monetized, de-boosted, de-platformed and banned entirely.
So we knew what the progressives that run these sites were up to, but now – thanks to the intrepid James O’Keefe and his Project Veritas – we have it directly from the horse’s mouth. If the internet search monopolists at Google are trying to build a case that they are a dangerous threat to democracy in need of antitrust remediation, they are doing a good job of it. We already know that Google is run by leftists for leftists and fired software engineer James Damore for political reasons – because he dared question P.C. orthodoxy. But there is an accumulating body of evidence that Google attempts to manage the public’s access to information so as to bias it in favor of Google’s friends and against those Google decides are its enemies.
