In the same week that Nike buried the Betsy Ross sneaker, the company pulled products in China made by designer Jun Takahashi after he expressed support for the Hong Kong pro-democracy protests.

Here we are in 2019, defending our American way of life against enemies within. The American Left spends most of its time trying to denigrate our nation’s Founding and boiling down years of monumental historical acts to focus solely on the scourge of slavery.
 
If it were not for the American Revolution, slavery would have existed even longer in this nation. If it were not for the belief as defined in our Declaration of Independence that all men are created equal, slavery would never have been addressed. It is upon the shoulders of the resolute in 1776 that we are able to soar today.

 
The former NFL quarterback is apparently reinventing himself as an American history expert. On the 4th he was tweeting Frederick Douglass out of context ~ Ted Cruz Schools Kaepernick on His Quote From Frederick Douglass Speech ~

“This speech was given in 1852, before the Civil War, when the abomination of slavery still existed. Thanks to Douglass and so many other heroes, we ended that grotesque evil and have made enormous strides to protecting the civil rights of everybody,” Cruz tweeted.

While Douglass’s speech roundly criticizes Americans for saying they promote natural rights and equality before the law while still abiding legalized chattel slavery, it in fact celebrates the United States’ ideals and calls Americans to live up to them by abolishing slavery. Contrary to the idea of many on the left, who insist America was conceived in sin that it can never repent of, the speech celebrates American founding principles and praises the founding fathers for creating a “GLORIOUS LIBERTY DOCUMENT” in writing the Constitution. Douglass places the capital letters in his original text.

The Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts makes a big deal about inclusion, with a pages-long statement concerning its “passionate conversations” about ethnicity, gender, race, ability, disability and age.
 
But its policy of inclusion apparently goes only so far.
 
That became clear after AIGA declared it would not participate in a design conference unless a Christian speaker was excluded.

Across the nation, courts on the right and on the left are saying no. They’re blocking biased sexual-assault adjudications, protecting basic fairness, and restoring a degree of sanity to colleges’ procedures. On Friday it was the turn of the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals to protect the Fourteenth Amendment, and an all-woman panel, led by Judge Amy Coney Barrett, established a precedent that could be used against woke college administrators nationwide.

Yet another study shows school choice programs reduce crime ~ So naturally the Left opposes them ~

Researchers found that entering a charter school in North Carolina in 9th grade reduced the rate at which students were convicted of felonies by 36% and the rate at which they were convicted of misdemeanors as adults by 38%, compared to their peers in traditional public schools.
 
But this isn’t the first study to show that school choice reduces crime. There are now six rigorous studies on the subject, and all six studies find that school choice cuts crime.

 
President of National Border Patrol Council: ‘Ocasio-Cortez is trying to dehumanize us ~ First of all, why have the mainstreams decided that this is suddenly THE story everyone needs to be focused on? The border patrol is under-manned, overwhelmed and exhausted, but apparently they’re supposed to be super-human, and aren’t allowed to express their frustration with debacle ~

CNN Wildly Exaggerates the ‘Explosion’ of Hate ~ CNN wants the country to know there’s a epidemic of white supremacy in the U.S. – even though there isn’t! ~

The left-leaning Anti-Defamation League reported a KKK decline in 2016, but it wasn’t specific about an overall number. It said: “Despite a persistent ability to attract media attention, organized Ku Klux Klan groups are actually continuing a long-term trend of decline. They remain a collection of mostly small, disjointed groups that continually change in name and leadership. Down slightly from a year ago, there are currently just over thirty active Klan groups in the United States, most of them very small.”

 
Attorney General William Barr declares emergency for public safety in Alaska ~ The MSM missed this one (wouldn’t want any news that reflects well on the Trump Administration) ~

“With this emergency declaration, I am directing resources where they are needed most and needed immediately, to support the local law enforcement response in Alaska Native communities, whose people are dealing with extremely high rates of violence.”
 
Many of those small communities, dotted across the state and largely only accessible by boat or plane, have some of the highest rates of sexual assault and suicide. Alaska Natives are disproportionately plagued by the crime.
 
The president of the Alaska Federation of Natives, Julie Kitka, praised Barr’s move to the Anchorage Daily News. She views the scale of Barr’s declaration as unprecedented for the state.
