Last month photojournalist and editor at Quillette, Andy Ngo was attacked by an Antifa mob in Portland ~
(He) was sent to the ER after being surrounded and beaten by members of Antifa on Saturday. Ngo was punched in the head, covered with silly string and eggs, and struck with milkshakes that Portland PD later claimed were filled with quick-drying cement. Ngo’s camera equipment was stolen by a member of the group, which can be observed in this video. Ngo was recognized and attacked because of his history of documenting Antifa’s actions in Portland.
Last weekend, Portland again erupted in violence ~
A couple of men on the far-right held an “End Domestic Terrorism” rally in Portland, Oregon on Saturday. As expected, the violent left-wing group Antifa showed up to counter protest. Ironically, the protest was about stopping their violent counter protests. Dressed in black, some wearing masks, Antifa struck at the windows of buses carrying people on the right, sprayed pepper spray at them and tried to drag them out of the bus using a hammer. They broke a window on one of the buses.
At one point, they chased a man and a young girl dressed in flag clothing who had become separated from the others. The man likely angered them because he didn’t fit their false stereotype of those on the right as white supremacists; he wore a shirt that said “I hate the left n racism.” They also threw sticky stuff at a man carrying an American flag.
Two weeks ago, we had protesters shouting death threats outside Mitch McConnell’s home ~
Gun control supporters stood outside Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s home in Kentucky on Sunday night — protesting and hurling death threats at him — while broadcasting on Facebook Live.

“The bitch home — we keep seeing the lights go on and off,” another says. “This hoe really thought he was going to get ready to be at home after he hurt his little punk ass shoulder. Bitch, don’t nobody give a f–k! F–k your thoughts and prayers, Mitch. F–k you, f–k your wife, f–k everything you stand for. ”
The “emergency protest,” as the demonstrators described it, took place Sunday night while McConnell, 77, reportedly was home recovering from a broken shoulder after a fall he suffered. About 20 to 30 people attended.
Charming aren’t they? As are so are many of their celebrity mouthpieces, who instigate – intentionally or not – much of this vitriol and violence ~ “Tommy Lee, Bette Midler And Others Exemplify New Elitist ‘Idiot Privilege’” ~
Hatred, which is what the liberal base claims is their chief concern about our nation’s chief executive, seems to consistently be their weapon of choice against what has been an indisputably successful first two-and-a-half-years of the Trump administration.
These are just the latest incidents of angry intolerance from the Left. They have no actual proof of the hate and racism they accuse the president and his supporters of – in fact, all the evidence shows that their side has the corner on that emotion. And their antics are only growing uglier by the day ~

Antifa revels in accusing those on the right of white supremacy. But it is exacerbating racial tensions by falsely accusing the right of white supremacy. The reality is, white supremacists make up a very small portion of society, and are frequently found on the left, supporting big government programs.
Antifa is clearly not going to stop until more people are injured. They don’t respect the First Amendment, which protects free speech, not violence. Their approach is leading to anarchy and the destruction of a civilized democracy. But try to find Democrats who will denounce Antifa. Hardly any of them will, because Antifa has become a militarized wing of the Democratic Party. Just like the Ku Klux Klan was an extension of the Democratic Party back in the era of Jim Crow.
