I have to say I much prefer holy scripture to your taste in “poetry“:

…whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy – meditate on these things. ~ Philippians 4:7

But then I’m also reminded of:

Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces. ~ Matthew 7:6
